Fiskesenter Birkeland

Fiskesenter Birkeland is led by Diny & Hans van de Goor from Aarle-Rixtel (Somewhere Netherlands).

Started as a fishing center for disabled people to also let them sea-fish with a boat made up to measure (“Pompel og Pilt”).

The Fiskesenter has now become a beautiful place where every fisherman and his or her family are more than welcome, for a more than great holiday.

The Fiskesenter derives its name from the 35ha area around Rekdal which is called Birkeland and therefore also belongs to the Fiskesenter.

Besides Fishing you can also enjoy hiking, cycling, or make day trips to eg the Trollstigen.

The Trollstigen is located at a small 80 km from the Fiskesenter.

A day trip to Ålesund to sniff up the Norwegian culture with a high point The city mountain Aksla with the viewpoints Fjellstua and Kniven should certainly have been seen.

3 apartments:

The center consists of 3 separate apartments that can be linked together if you want to come with a very large group.

The Apartments Diny, Hans & Harald are fully equipped.

Our port:

The port has been constructed to serve as a safe haven for our and your boats in bad weather.

We always have 6 to 7 boats in the harbor, if you want to rent one, inform in advance via E-mail or if you are with us at the reception.

Front desk:

Through our reception you can get information for sightseeing in the area, renting our boats, fishing equipment.

We also have a small selection of lures in stock that is geared to the needs of the fish in the fjords around us.
